There’s nonetheless time to lock in your love of animals on the BC SPCA in Kelowna.

Animal lovers in British Columbia are being requested to assist abused, injured and homeless animals throughout the Lock-In for Love fundraiser, which begins June 1.

Three animal lovers are at the moment being held at a Kelowna shelter with three cute and adoptable puppies, hoping to achieve their fundraising targets and be free.

Mike Stanley of Bell Media and his lock-in associate Kya hope to boost $1,500 by the tip of the day. Kya, a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever-Rottweiler, got here to the shelter along with her sister Stevie. They’re a pair who like to spend high quality time with their guardians. Each are calm and luxuriate in driving and strolling.

Stevie is locked in with Klaudia Van Emmerik, who has raised greater than $30,000 by noon Thursday.

Randall, supervisor of Save On Meals on Lake Shore Drive, spent the day elevating $1,000 with Nala, a 5-year-old Sharpei biracial.

Donate right here by 6:30pm on June twenty fourth to the BC SPCA Kelowna group Funds raised from the lockdown will go on to the care, rescue and rescue of native animals on the Kelowna department. This contains sterilization/neutering, medical care and abuse investigations.
